It all began with PPC, SEO and digital marketing pro Tony working away in his spare bedroom. Experienced working both brand and agency side and with a love of demonstrating tangible results, it was only ever a matter of time before he started an agency.
Tony’s background encompasses all elements of the digital landscape, whether it’s setting strategies to build an online presence and increase conversions or getting stuck into Meta Business Manager or Google Ads. He has worked with budgets in excess of £2million (and far far smaller), and with the likes of Hoseasons, Nvidia, and Phillips, as well as with a whole host of brilliant SMEs.
Tony is on a mission to demystify digital marketing and it is this, alongside his experience training others on the subject, which drives Ginger Pickle’s approach to what an agency should look like; more straightforward accountability, less cloak-and-dagger.
As someone who has spent 10 years in in-house marketing roles, Sophie knows first hand how important it is to choose the right agency partner. Her experience is in marketing strategy, projects and campaigns that work to meet business goals, as well as leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver on them. She has a MiniMBA in Marketing.
Her very first marketing role was as a copywriter, and she’s still a lover of words (as well as being a hater of exclamation marks) now. Aside from her professional marketing background, Sophie has created social, video and written content for brands including Visit Holland, Huawei, Thomas Sabo and Kurt Geiger.
A Film and Moving Image graduate who specialised in Production Design, Emma brings plenty of skills in all things content and creative production to our team. She is currently working towards her Level 3 Digital Marketer Award with Ginger Pickle and has quickly become an integral part of the team.
Emma is all about understanding the intricacies of marketing as she works her way through her qualification, and has been actively involved in projects across the full Digital Marketing spectrum with a wide range of clients. We consider ourselves to be some of the best trainers in the area (just not the most modest ones), so we know Emma is just getting started on what will be a brilliant career in marketing.
Tony may have started the agency, but his original inspiration came from someone else - and that someone is ginger, fluffy, toothless, and more recently eyeless (yes, you read that correctly).
Pickle the rescue cat is the reason we’re called what we are, and based on his love of sitting on laptops and invading personal space, we can only assume he considers himself to be the boss. We can’t blame him…it’s his name on the door.
