Brand Strategy Services
It all starts with strategy
What is it?
It’s tempting to dive straight into the world of branding by having a new logo or website created, but to do so without first getting your strategy in place won’t set your brand up for success.
The good news is that this is something we’re really great at; distilling information gathered from discussion, research and customer insights into compelling propositions that keep brands moving purposefully – and strategically – forward.

Our process
There’s no one size fits all here, but we’ll always start with discovery. The discovery stage involves learning about you, of course, but more importantly, it involves learning about your customers.
We analyse everything we learn with you alongside our own research into the industry, competitors and target customers before preparing a first draft that we can discuss together.
During the review process we’ll work with you to interrogate the work that has been done and identify improvements or clarifications, before refining your new brand identity and delivering it as your brand book; a document that summarises your proposition and positioning as well as elements like your mission, vision and values. This becomes a manual for your marketing team or for any agency partners you might work with to guide your messaging and approach.
Your strategy should be the linchpin of all of your activity, so if you hear of an agency describing SEO or social media as a ‘strategy’, run for the hills.
Is this right for what I need?
If you don’t have a brand strategy or you don’t know if you have one, almost certainly yes! A strategic brand identity is the linchpin that holds all of your marketing activities together; it keeps you moving in an intentional way and provides a framework for the messaging you use in your marketing assets.
Essentially, it’s the bit we’d always recommend doing before you get a designer involved, before you put a social media schedule together, or before you start any kind of marketing plan.
If you’re still not sure, get in touch – this is one of our favourite subjects to talk about!
